~ Seed potatoes from a local potato farmer!
~ Sweet treats, coffee & tea!
~ Farm tours!
~ Whatever else I come up with between now and then!
~ Watch our newsletter emails & social media for more updates!
If you need any financial assistance in purchasing plants, please see our scholarship page!
A few details for those that pre-ordered:
- Confirmation Receipts: Everyone that made an order through the website received an email receipt with the details of your order. The subject is your order number and it's from Sweet Union Farm, but there's a decent chance it went into some other folder besides your inbox! Be sure to check all your email folders. If you can't find it and want to see it, I can resend it to you.
- You do not need your receipt when you pick up your plants. Just give us your name and we'll believe you!
- Pickup: Pick up your order at our plant sale event on Saturday May 18th, 9am-12pm at the farm (10861 Crystal Springs Rd.) We hope as many people as possible can pick up at this event, but if you're unable, we'll have an alternative (less eventful) pickup on Thursday, May 23rd, 4-6:30pm at the farm. If you are unable to make either of those, please ask a friend to pick up your plants for you. There are too many orders for us to arrange custom pick up times, unfortunately.
A little more about the Sweet Union Plant Sale..
We grow vibrant and healthy vegetable starts from seed right here on the farm. Just as we do with our crops, we use all natural practices and choose varieties we've grown ourselves that can handle this challenging Klamath Basin climate! We know it's not easy to garden here, but healthy starts are essential for a successful garden, plus plant sale customers will receive helpful gardening tips straight from the farmer. Most people say the plants they receive from Sweet Union are more vibrant and just do better than the plants they find at a big box store that were trucked in from who knows where!
Pre-ordering your starts is the best way to guarantee you get the varieties you want for your garden. We will have additional plants, specifically native perennials and pollinator plants for sale at pickup day that are not available for pre-order.
We hope you have a wonderful garden this year!
